ADS Announces Dual Battery Start for the DHC-8
DUAL BATTERY STARTING SYSTEM FOR THE DHC-8 AIRCRAFT
This modification provides better cold weather starting capability for the DHC-100/200/300aircraft. It allows the auxiliary battery to be tied to the main battery during the engine startsequence. The system is armed using a switch on the overhead panel adjacent to the existingengine start switch. When the existing engine start switch is engaged, a high power relay closesto connect the auxiliary battery to the start bus to assist the main battery.
ADS opens a new office in Mississauga!
The new office is located near the General Aviation section of Pearson airport and will allow ADS better service itâ€™s GTA clients. It also gives us more space so we can take on more staff. This office will handle our growth requirements for the next few years.
Apple iPad EFB STC for Boeing 737 Series of Aircraft now accepted by the FAA!
The STC now includes the Mid Continent Instruments TA102 Dual USB Charging Port. This makes the installation easier and lighter. Dual Universal UNS-1Lw STC for ATR 42/72 Now accepted by EASA!
We now have an EASA STC for upgrading the ATR 42 and 72 Series aircraft with Dual Universal UNS-1Lw systems replacing the old Honeywell systems which are obsolete. This new installation provides SBAS approach capability fully autopilot coupled. Call for more information.
Apple™ iPad™ EFB STC for Dash 8
New! FAA and EASA has now accepted the ADS STC Apple™ iPad™ EFB STC for Dash 8.
We are excited to announce the ADS has a Class II EFB kit for the Dash 8 Series 100/200/300/400 aircraft. This is a high quality arm and holder specifically designed for the iPad II and the New iPad (III). A specially designed charging circuit provides protection against Lithium Ion battery fires and has been shown to be safe under all failure conditions. This is a first in cockpit iPad applications.
