The Challenge
Reconfigure seating and passenger service systems on a Boeing 777-200, operated under EASA regulations and modified in Turkey.
Boeing 777 aircraft are great high-density long-range workhorses, and many airlines are retrofitting to take advantage of their reliability.
Our Approach
Maximizing the range of our partner network, we worked with our client who manufactures IFE and passenger services equipment and a European DOA partner to obtain an EASA STC.
The Solution
The operator of this Boeing 777-200 was undergoing a LOPA (Location of Passenger Accommodations) update to accommodate 400+ passenger seats. Working closely with our DOA partner in Europe we obtained an EASA STC for new passenger Service Systems, including in-seat power, manufactured by our Montreal-based client.
The Result
This work-horse gained higher density seating and enhanced passenger services. All tied into an EASA STC.
