The Challenge
High-speed video downlink and FLIR turret on a very light twin piston aircraft – a lot of equipment in a very small space.
With a primary requirement for frequency agility, our client needed a very special solution for their light twin piston aircraft.
Our Approach
We worked as part of the operator’s team, to deliver a sound implementation of the equipment they had chosen.
The Solution
The addition of a FLIR turret and high-speed video downlink were certified. This involved engineering the solution to fit the aircraft structure and ensuring the connectivity functioned as expected.
The Result
Although there wasn’t much room left for the operator, the equipment was installed and certified and they were able to perform their missions safely and effectively.
