The Challenge
Certifying the installation of a medical bed frame for a PC-12 medical aircraft.
The manufacturer, LifePort, did not at the time have an STC for the particular bed frame our client had spec’d out for their aircraft.
Our Approach
Leveraging 25+ years of knowledge and the sheer number of aircraft interiors and structures we’ve seen. We worked with the operator and with LifePort to obtain critical data to be able to design and engineer the specific bed frame in to the PC-12 aircraft.
The Solution
A complete engineering package and a certification for the specific aircraft.
The Result
The specified bed frame was installed in the aircraft, and the operator was able to realize their specific goals for the medical operations of the aircraft.
